Cherishing Life...One Bite At A Time
I LOVE all things natural. I love whole, organic foods and simple, natural products that are not created from chemicals or altered by man to make them "better". I wanted a place to organize recipes, thoughts, experiences, and things I am learning along the way. Go ahead and snoop around!!
From jumping on the diet train only to fall off again...and again...and yet again, I can tell you that I am over it!! I realized that I was wasting most of my life "dieting" instead of enjoying life and enjoying food. Eventually I realized that God made food for our enjoyment, and I wasn't going to miss out on one more day of experiencing all that life had to offer. My "diet food" obsession went out the window, and so did some extra pounds that I never could seem to lose. I started paying attention to what I was really eating and I decided that I could do better than fake food made to trick me into thinking I was actually eating. I decided that I wanted to enjoy the amazing foods that God created...not the man made stuff, but I mean the stuff that grows from the dirt!! I don't count calories or carbs or use "low fat" substitutes. I just simply eat real food, cook with lots of vegetables, and try to avoid any artificial ingredients.
